Can I adjust or replace the springs on my Z-CoiL shoes?Updated a month ago

Yes. Z-CoiL springs are both replaceable and adjustable, and can be set to support different gait patterns.

How your shoes arrive: Every pair ships preset for a normal, neutral gait, with the strongest part of the coil on the outside. About 90% of customers wear their Z-CoiLs exactly as they come.

Open coils can be swapped left-to-right and rotated in 90° increments for finer adjustment.

Enclosed (covered) coils can be swapped left-to-right as well — just keep the orientation of the coil the same as you move it to the other shoe. Enclosed coils cannot be rotated in 90° increments; side-swapping is the adjustment available to them.

What swapping does: The factory setting puts more pressure on the outside of the coil. Swapping the coils shifts that pressure to the inside of your foot, which helps if you over-pronate — meaning your feet roll inward over the big toe as you walk.
